Thomas Ly is an active performer and music educator based in Austin, Texas. Hailing from Columbia, Mississippi, he has performed with professional groups including the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and Mississippi Opera, as well as serving as a Substitute Musician for the New World Symphony.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Music Education and Trombone Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Music in Trombone Performance from the University of Texas at Austin.
